About the Doct0r.
Sarah Hooks, MD
With over 20 years experience in direct patient care, I have worked in a wide range of health care settings including primary care clinics, urgent care, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, virtual medical centers and home visits.
Serious about high quality evidence-based care, while practicing with a casual style, I believe in simple, safe medicine that starts with a prescription for a healthy lifestyle. I encourage everyone to be active both physically and mentally and to eat a whole food plant-based diet. Good sleep habits and strong social connections are equally important. All of these factors help manage stress and actually prevent disease.
